At the end of August and the beginning of September, the top-tier championship kicked off in the younger age groups, and our academy players proved their worth not only in domestic league competition but on the international stage as well.
András Vass learned the fundamentals of football in Kaposvár, where he spent four seasons before joining the Honvéd family in the summer of 2025. Our quick winger earned his recent success through his attitude, mentality, and fighting spirit: our coaching staff chose him as Player of the Month for September, and he was recently called up to the youth national team setup as well. Our player was the sole representative of our club in the U16 "future" national team program, traveling to Azerbaijan to participate in the FIFA World Festival.
Bence Márta has likewise proven his talent over the past six months: he contributed vital goals to the success of our U14 team not only in the league, but also during our international matches. Recently, he was named Player of the Tournament in his age group at the First Step Tournament in Croatia, and thanks to his brace in the final against Manchester United, our team lifted the trophy. Our forward began his career at our partner club Gyáli BKSE, and three years later moved to another partner organization, Monor Talent Center. Following the recommendation of the experts working there, he joined our club in February 2023, before turning ten years old. Thanks to his talent and mentality, he quickly established himself as a key player in the 2013 birth-year team, which won six consecutive international tournaments.
