Viktor Petrók, head coach:

“We played a good, useful match that highlighted the areas in which we need to improve. Both teams tried to implement their own style of play; today we were less successful in doing so, while MTK played better in certain periods and in several elements and phases of the game. Even so, if we had been more efficient in front of goal, we could have won. We need more matches like this, where both teams commit to brave, proactive football.”

Gödöllői SK U16–Budapest Honvéd FC U16 1–3 (0–2)

Honvéd: Czinki – Marinyák (Varga B., 79.), Érsek, Kralicsek (Szijjártó, 46.), Horváth-Garaba, Solymos, Hegyes, Jakab (Meggyes, 68.), Barton, Rotár (Menyhárt, 79.), Völgyi (Kardos, 68.).

G: Szabó B. (88.), while Völgyi (7.), Barton (31.), Horváth-Garaba (67.).

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:

“We played an enjoyable match, and the quality of the football itself was particularly good. We used the dynamics of the game well and often managed to break through the final defensive line; unfortunately, considering the number of chances, we scored too few goals. Our defending and transitions were once again well organised and stable. The team’s dynamics were at the right level.”

Budapest Honvéd FC U14–DVTK U14 1–0 (0–0)

Honvéd: Mező (Ehmann, 41.) – Karácsony, Oláh-Sebők, Horváth, Marte (Tóth, 66.), Oke (Palaga, 61.), Nnadi (Rácz, 54.), Kamber, Kovács B. (Málint, 41.), Hanzély, Gerencsér.

G: Hanzély (69.)

Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:

“The boys started the match with a great mentality and attitude; based on the number of chances we could already have been ahead in the first half. In the second half we finally managed to turn one of our opportunities into a goal. Looking at the match as a whole, we deserved the victory. Several elements we had practised during the week appeared in the game, which made us particularly happy. We want to continue improving our technical execution in the attacking third and our solutions in game situations! Congratulations to the boys on the brave football they showed!
