In Round 19, our team faced Pénzügyőr. Two rounds earlier the green-and-whites had drawn 4–4 with MTK, who were second in the table.
The teams used the opening quarter-hour to size each other up, with play taking place between the two penalty areas. The first big chance came in front of the home goal, but the goalkeeper tipped Youla's shot away. We took control and Pénzügyőr's goal came under increasing pressure. Youla tried twice more to score, but the home goalkeeper, having an excellent day, saved both attempts. The pattern did not change after the break: Kispest increased the pressure and were rewarded in the 62nd minute. Kamber's 20-metre thunderbolt came back off the crossbar to Youla , who made no mistake (0-1). Five minutes later Youla scored again, this time heading Zana's ball into Ferencsik's net from close range (0-2). In the 72nd minute substitute Nemanja Andric curled the ball from the corner of the penalty area into the left side of the goal (0–3). Two minutes later Rajz broke down the right and, after a feint, fired Honvéd's fourth goal into the bottom-right corner (0-4). In the 77th minute Mészáros scored a consolation goal for Pénzügyőr (1-4). In the 80th minute Youla set off from halfway, powered toward goal between two defenders and, from 15 metres, shot past the advancing goalkeeper into the net (1-5). There was no time left for the restart.
With three rounds remaining, a top-of-the-table clash awaits in Kispest on May 5. We host MTK at the youth centre, with kick-off at 19:30.
