The Romanian Football Federation fined the Csíkszereda football team €5,000 because its supporters waved Hungarian and Székely flags at their latest match. Péter Szijjártó, president of Budapest Honvéd, immediately contacted Gábor Kubatov, president of Ferencvárosi Torna Club, and they decided that Honvéd and Fradi would jointly pay the fine imposed on the Csíkszereda football team.
“Together with Fradi supporters, we are helping our friends in Csíkszereda” – said Péter Szijjártó, president of Honvéd.
