Head coach Gábor Kovács handed debuts to new faces straight away in our league match against Dunaharaszti in Round 4 of the NB III South-East group: Bence Matyi, who arrived from Majos, started in goal, while 17-year-old Teó Balázs also made his first appearance for Honvéd II.
The final score was established early in the contest. Csongor Bata's spectacular strike gave Dunaharaszti the lead in the 17th minute, and, thanks in part to Gyatyel saving a penalty, they held on to their advantage until the final whistle.
Our team now faces another league break of a week and a half due to the second round of the MOL Hungarian Cup. Next up, we host Martfű at the Magyar Futball Akadémia.
