A determined, tough but always sporting defender, he wore the Honvéd shirt in 136 league matches. With the team he won two league silver medals, one league bronze and two Hungarian Cup silver medals. — Forty-three years ago, Budai II. László passed away, one of the finest right wingers in the history of Budapest Honvéd and Hungarian football. Between 1950 and 1961 he wore Honvéd's red-and-white shirt and was a key member of the club's legendary Golden Team. With Budapest Honvéd he won four Hungarian league titles, as well as three league silver medals and one bronze. With Hungary he became Olympic champion in 1952 and finished runner-up at the 1954 World Cup. His pace, excellent dribbling and precise crosses made him one of the best right wingers of his era. His life's work was also recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kispest Football Support Association, a fitting tribute to his outstanding service to the club and Hungarian football.

— Seventy years ago Dudás Gyula passed away, a Kispest academy product and Hungary international defender who left a lasting legacy at his beloved club both as a player and sports official. He began his career in Kispest's youth team, initially playing as a left inside-forward before developing into an excellent defender. Between 1918 and 1930 he represented Kispest's first team, wearing the red-and-black shirt in 205 competitive matches and earning selection for the Hungary national team through his performances.
After ending his active playing career he remained close to the club. In 1941 he was a member of an eleven-man sporting committee made up of former players – known to supporters simply as the “council of elders” – which helped Kispest's football operations during a difficult period. From 1946 he also worked on Kispesti AC's disciplinary committee and executive committee, continuing his service to the association.
