— On this day, Sallai Sándor, the outstanding former right-back of Budapest Honvéd FC, celebrates his 66th birthday. He played for the Kispest side between 1983 and 1990, becoming one of the team's key players with his reliable performances and tremendous work rate. He made 183 league appearances and also wore the national-team shirt 55 times. During his career he celebrated five league titles and two Hungarian Cup triumphs, making him a defining figure of one of the most successful eras in the club's history.
March 27:
— Celebrating his 63rd birthday is Csehi Tibor, the versatile former Budapest Honvéd FC player. With a brief interruption, he represented Kispest between 1987 and 1995 as a midfielder and forward. During his career he won three league titles, two league bronze medals and one Hungarian Cup, and also wore the national-team shirt on three occasions.
March 28:
— On March 28, Romanek János celebrates his 60th birthday. He represented Budapest Honvéd FC between 1986 and 1989. During his years in Kispest, he was part of a successful era for the club and contributed to winning two league titles.
March 29:
— On this day, Maximilian Oraze, the former Budapest Honvéd FC goalkeeper, celebrates his 59th birthday. The Austrian shot-stopper guarded the Kispest goal between 2004 and 2005.

— On this day 54 years ago, Fürstner János, passed away, the former Kispest striker. He played for the Kispest side between 1924 and 1932, making 108 league appearances and scoring 34 goals during that period.
March 25.
— Today marks 46 years since Villányi Lajos, the former Kispesti AC footballer, passed away. Villányi played for the red-and-blacks of Kispest between 1941 and 1944. He initially helped the team as a half-back, but established his real authority as a centre-back.
March 29.
— Biri János, the former Kispesti AC goalkeeper, passed away 43 years ago. He began his career at just 14 years of age in the colours of KAC. From 1920, he guarded the Kispest goal for five years. His special abilities are illustrated by the fact that, despite being a goalkeeper, he was also trusted as a penalty taker and scored from the spot in three league matches.
