Supporter information:
- The match will be played at the Szent Gellért Fórum in Szeged on Sunday, May 4, from 17:00.
- Tickets can be purchased online at Jegymester.hu (In accordance with MLSZ guidelines, Szeged-Csanád Grosics Academy operates personalised ticket sales for its home league and cup matches.) Tickets can be purchased by providing place of birth, date of birth and name.
- We recommend printing the tickets to make entry faster.
- The entrance gates can only read barcodes, so if the QR-code ticket is saved to your digital Wallet, the system will not recognise it.
- At entry, staff will check whether the details on the ticket match the information on the holder's identity card.
- Tickets can also be purchased at the venue. Personal data must be provided for ticket issuance. Tickets can be bought in person using an identity card, club card (club cards of other teams are also accepted) or MLSZ Football Card. (When purchasing multiple tickets, identification must be available for every supporter.) On-site ticket sales will be available at the away ticket office (Városgazda utca 19.). Three ticket windows will operate from 15:00 on matchday, but we strongly encourage everyone to buy tickets ONLINE, as entering personal details makes on-site purchases time-consuming. If a queue builds up, the host club cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to enter before kick-off.
- Ticket prices: adults HUF 1,000 (online + HUF 499 service fee); free under 14 and over 65, but a ticket must still be obtained.
- The stadium can be approached from Kereskedő köz.
- We will broadcast the match live on our YouTube channel.

Summary of the current season:
Szeged have gone through several coaching changes over the past year. They began the 2024/25 season under Michael Boris, but after a large number of draws the German coach was dismissed just before our league match in November. Szeged finished the autumn season under interim coach Ádám Simon, and since January Aleksandar Jovic has been in charge. Although he began his spell with the blue-and-blacks with two wins, Szeged's form then became inconsistent: in April they lost to both Szentlőrinc and Békéscsaba, before most recently scoring four against Kazincbarcika. Szeged currently sit sixth, with the Borvető–Novák duo playing a major part; between them they have scored 22 of Szeged's 32 goals.
Players with links to both clubs:
There are three Kispest-developed players in the Szeged squad
in János Takács, Norbert Gera and Milán Horváth, while Dominik Földi from our squad played for the Great Plain side in spring 2024.
Previous meetings:
After two victorious friendly matches, the first teams of the two clubs met in a league match for the first time last season. Szeged won both matches 1–0, first through Bence Bíró and then Ákos Zuigéber (the former from a penalty, the latter from a free kick). In the autumn meeting between the two sides, Csanád Novák answered Zoltán Medgyes's goal with a penalty.
Budapest Honvéd FC - Szeged-Csanád Grosics | 1–1 (1–1) | Merkantil Bank Liga NB II | Round 12
Interestingly, our first competitive match at the Szent Gellért Fórum was not against Szeged: in 2020 we advanced from the Hungarian Cup quarter-final there against Paks, in a competition that eventually ended with Honvéd winning the trophy.
Our last five matches against Szeged-Csanád Grosics Academy:
2016/17, friendly: Honvéd–Szeged 1–0 (Our scorer: Jelena)
2017/18, friendly: Honvéd–Szeged 4–1 (Our scorers: Eppel, Eppel, Lovric, Bobál G.)
2023/24, NB II: Szeged–Honvéd 1–0
2023/24, NB II: Honvéd–Szeged 0–1
2024/25, NB II: Honvéd–Szeged 1–1 (Our scorer: Medgyes)
Referee:
Sunday's league match will be refereed by Róbert Nagy. It will be the third time he has officiated one of our NB II games, after the 0–0 draw against Nyíregyháza and the 1–0 victory over Tatabánya; overall, it will be his eighth competitive Honvéd match.
