Today our club held another consultation with the BRFK and the 13th District Police Department, as well as representatives of the security services and Vasas FC, regarding Sunday's derby between the two teams. In view of the continued high level of interest, the need to address the questions raised last week and the aim of staging the match as safely as possible, the Angyalföld club has made it possible for tickets purchased for the home sectors to be refunded and exchanged for tickets to the away sector.
Vasas FC originally provided 400 tickets for Sector D, reserved for our supporters. Our fans bought those tickets within a few hours, after which the number of tickets purchased in the B2 and B3 home sectors closest to the away section rose sharply.
As a result, the two clubs, the BRFK and the 13th District Police Department held consultations today. Based on what was discussed — and so that everyone can watch the final match of the season safely, in a good atmosphere and alongside their own supporters — the host club will refund the tickets and make another 200 tickets available to our supporters in the away sector instead, meaning a total of 600 Kispest supporters will be able to cheer on the team from Stand D. According to the statistics kept by Vasas, this represents a higher number of away-sector tickets than ever before.
The ticket refund/exchange procedure is as follows:
- the ticket buyer must indicate their refund request at info@jegymester.hu and send their purchase ID (this appears both in the header of the online ticket and in the email received after the previous successful purchase)
- it is important that the refund request is sent from the same registered email address that was used for the purchase
- the email must state whether all tickets associated with the purchase are to be refunded or, if not, precisely which tickets
- after the ticket has been refunded and the ticket price returned, the buyer will receive an email at the address used for the previous purchase containing a link to the new ticket/tickets reserved for them in the away sector
- after receiving the email and opening the link, the buyer has 30 minutes to purchase the new ticket online, which will be for Sector D instead of Sector B
To prevent abuse, only Honvéd supporters who have previously purchased a ticket for the home sectors can therefore use the ticket refund/exchange option. Also because of potential abuse, Vasas has suspended online ticket sales for Sector B.
According to preliminary information from the 13th District club, if our supporters arrive at the entrance points for sectors reserved for home spectators wearing clothing associated with the away team (shirt, scarf, cap, etc.), the security service may deny them entry to the match.
We would also like to reiterate that the match has been classified as a high-security-risk fixture, therefore both ticket sales and entry to the stadium are conducted on a named-ticket basis.
