Head-to-head history:
Taking every match into account, the nine Honvéd–Csákvár games so far have produced 44 goals, so this has been an extremely high-scoring fixture in the shared history of the two clubs. We have also scored in every match against Csákvár.
The two sides were drawn together in the League Cup in 2014 and goals flowed in both matches. At home Gergely Bobál scored four, while Mancini, Gazdag and Szabados also got on the scoresheet in a 7–3 Kispest victory. Csákvár won the return leg 5–2.
In 2018 we played two friendlies against Csákvár, both at home. In January Sándor gave the visitors the lead, Danilo equalised before half-time, then the closing stages produced three more goals. Lukács turned the score in our favour, Sajbán responded for Csákvár, but trialist Norbert Csiki made it 3–2. Ten months later we played another high-scoring match against Csákvár. Patrik Tischler's hat-trick was not enough to win, as goals from Oroszi, Kiprich and Simon rescued a draw for Csákvár.
In 2023 we faced Balázs Tóth's side twice in the second division. In the opening round in Csákvár, Benczenleitner gave Kispest an early lead. The hosts responded at the start of the second half through Zoárd Nagy's header, before Zalán Kerezsi scored the winner in the 86th minute.
In the December return match we hosted our opponents at Bozsik Aréna. Goals from Babós and Tamás gave them a two-goal lead, but Karancs's own goal and Bobál's strike kept one point at home.Honvéd–Csákvár 2–2 (highlights)
Last season we faced Csákvár three times. In July we drew 1–1 in a friendly through goals from Zoárd Nagy and Attila Lőrinczy, while in September we lost 3–1 at the Tersztyánszky Ödön Sports Centre. Balázs Farkas scored our goal; Szalai, Nagy and Haragos scored for the hosts.
Our latest meeting took place at the end of March. Haragos gave Csákvár the lead, but after Csontos's penalty, Zoltán Medgyes turned the match in our favour.
