What you need to know about Tiszakécskei LC:
- Founded: 2000
- Club colours: yellow and blue
- League position: 2nd
- Record: 14 wins, 5 draws, 3 defeats
- Head coach: Pál Balogh
- Top scorer: Tamás Takács (7 goals)
Our first team faced Tiszakécske in NB II last year, in the Hungarian Cup in 2019, and also met their predecessor in NB I, but our second team have so far played only three league matches against the side from Bács-Kiskun County.
In the 2017-18 season, the yellow-and-blues won 2-1 in Kispest and then won their home match 4-1. Tiszakécske became champions that season, as a newly promoted side, and moved up to the second division. Pál Balogh's team are currently close to repeating the first of those achievements: only an inferior goal difference keeps them off the top, with 47 points, the same as leaders Gyula. In the autumn meeting between the two teams, a Benjámin Balázs goal kept all three points at home.
Our 3 league matches against Tiszakécske so far:
2024/25: Tiszakécske–Honvéd II. 1–0
2017/18: Tiszakécske–Honvéd II. 4–1 (Our scorer: Májer)
2017/18: Honvéd II.--Tiszakécske 1–2 (Our scorer: Villám)
Admission to the match is free, and the game will also be available to watch online on our YouTube channel.
