Our away league match in Tiszaföldvár, originally scheduled for March 16, was postponed because the pitch was unfit for play. The match could not be held on the first rescheduled date either, so after a delay of almost four weeks it will finally take place on April 9.
What you need to know about Tiszaföldvár:
Founded: 1910
Club colours: blue and white
League position: 11th
Record: 6 wins, 7 draws, 8 defeats
Head coach: Pál Rétes
Top scorers: Ákos Oláh, Tamás Bojtos (4 goals)
Tiszaföldvár won the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County First Division last season and, thanks to a successful promotion play-off against Villány, earned promotion to NB III, where they had last played in 1974. The blue-and-whites currently sit 11th, are unbeaten in the spring and have conceded only one goal. Few teams have enjoyed success in Tiszaföldvár recently; since round two, no one has managed to win away to the newly promoted side.
Gábor Kovács’s team has two away trips this week, as after Tiszaföldvár Honvéd II travels to Szeged on Sunday.
In August we won 4–1 at home. Ábel Krajcsovics and Máté Pintér both scored twice, while Anton Bidzilya was on target for the opposition.
