Dominik Csontos scored in the 93rd minute as we earned three points in a difficult match at Soroksár. After the game, we spoke to the hero of the night.
"It was a very difficult match, and not only because of the midweek round. Obviously the game against Debrecen played some part in it, but that could not be an excuse; we clearly wanted to win. Soroksár made things difficult for us and chose good tactics, but I am happy that we managed to win in the end. We created many more well-worked chances, hit the woodwork, and luck was not really on our side today, but these are exactly the kinds of matches that can be decided by a set piece. I am very happy that I managed to score, but the most important thing is that we were able to win" – Csonti assessed the match afterwards before also speaking about his goal.
"I expected Ádám to send the ball to the far post because he had gone to the near post before that. I hoped someone might flick it on, and I am happy it worked out that way" – he added, then also looked ahead to our upcoming matches against Szeged, Vasas and BVSC.
"None of the matches are easy. Soroksár also made things difficult for us, so we have to go match by match, build our own pyramid and focus on the next fixture. I am sure we will prepare very thoroughly for Szeged; a derby is coming up. Our supporters will be one hundred percent behind us, so we can hardly wait to get back out on the pitch!" – our defender concluded.
