Our second team hosted Hódmezővásárhely on Sunday in Round 26 of the NB III South-East Group. The first chance fell to our side, Botond Horváth shooting on the turn from five metres, but the effort went narrowly wide of the visitors' goal. In the 20th minute, after a corner from the left, the visitors took the lead: Török headed the ball back across goal at the far post and Guth glanced it into the bottom-right corner from close range (0–1). Soon afterwards Hajnal's dangerous cross deflected threateningly towards Papp's goal, but our goalkeeper reacted quickly and managed to save in time.
In the second half the visitors defended more. Somogyi tipped Kis's long-range shot around the post with his fingertips, while late on Hetyei had a goal ruled out by the referee for a foul, so the score remained unchanged.
In a week's time Gábor Kovács's side will play in Óbuda away to III. Kerületi TVE.
