Unbeaten league leaders Gyulai Termál FC were the opponents for our second team in round seven of the NB III South-East group.
Gyula created several chances in front of our goal in the first half and took the lead in the 8th minute when László Wéber's low free kick around the wall caught Bence Matyi by surprise (0–1). In the 15th minute the visitors created another big chance: after a flick-on, Wéber played the ball back across goal, Matyi made a save but pushed it onto Szabó's head, and the header went just wide of the bottom-left corner. A little under a quarter of an hour later Gyula doubled their lead when a pass from the right found Zabari, who beat Sebe to the ball and fired into the far corner from fifteen metres (0–2). Before half-time the visitors in blue threatened with headers and a long-range effort from Lestyán, the latter requiring a save from Matyi.
After the break most of the play took place in midfield, but in the 66th minute we had a big chance to pull one back. Botos crossed from the left, but the arriving Forró could only divert the ball wide. Eleven minutes later Hetyei found space inside the penalty area, but Füstös saved his shot; after the rebound Forró's second effort was blocked, then Petrók had a third attempt that flew narrowly over the bar. Two minutes later Füstös again had to hold a shot. Gyula tested Matyi again late on, but the score did not change.
Because of next week's MOL Hungarian Cup round, NB III takes another weekend break. In two weeks we can make amends at home again, against Békéscsaba II.
