Our first team flew to Turkey on Saturday, and before departure our head coach spoke about the past almost three weeks. “The players really have been working very well day after day, there is not a single request of ours that they do not carry out, and it is good to see that there is competition for places in the team.”
Among other things, Feczkó also spoke about how well he has managed to get to know the team so far. “The past two and a half weeks have been very good for that, because everyone has a different personality, everyone has different strengths, and I trust that we will be able to make use of those in the league as well. I hope we can get the maximum out of everyone.”
Our head coach also shared his thoughts on the training camp. “The aim of the training camp in Turkey is to come home as a real team. Not just as players, but as people who genuinely live and breathe for the club and really do everything they can to be successful! It is important to develop such cohesion that it does not matter who plays, as long as the team gets results. Even someone who gets only one or two minutes should repay that opportunity in full and do everything to play more next time and help the team win!”
Tamás Feczkó also spoke about the last two pre-season matches and explained how his work is made easier by the fact that he has previously worked with several of the players. You can watch the full video interview here.
