"We played very well in the first half and, besides the goal, had several chances when we could have settled the three points. However, Soroksár showed their strength by playing excellent football in the second half. Even in such difficult circumstances, my team managed to turn the match around, which clearly illustrates their mental strength. The biggest positive today is that we did not panic even when we were behind and kept pushing for victory until the end, for ourselves and for our supporters, who created a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium." - Tamás Feczkó said in his assessment. Among other things, he was also asked about Kevin Kántor's goal and the condition of our captain, Szilveszter Hangya.
"Mistakes are part of a match, but we are a team so that we can correct them. It was not only the 16 players who took to the pitch who contributed to this success. In today's match too, there were players who played while carrying injuries or returning from illness, without being at one hundred per cent physically. At half-time we lost our captain, who is mentally a very strong player and consistently creates danger down the left. We had to use an emergency solution. He had suffered a concussion and sat crying in the dressing room at half-time when the doctor would not allow him back onto the pitch. That is how deeply he cares about the fate of the club” – our head coach said, sharing information about Szilveszter Hangya's condition. In response to a journalist's question, he also spoke about Kevin Kántor, who came on as a substitute and scored the winning goal.
„Because of the injury we needed a forward. He is a type of player we did not have in our squad. He is highly motivated because he has not yet been able to show his talent in Hungary. He goes through fire and water in training too; the only thing he cares about is scoring goals. A bicycle-kick winner in the 84th minute… that was a Hollywood story.”
