Our team suffered a 2–1 defeat against HR-Rent Kozármisleny in round 10 of the Merkantil Bank Liga. After the match, head coach Tamás Feczkó identified finishing and individual errors as the main factors that decided how the result developed.
"We conceded goals worthy of a slapstick comedy. After the first goal we had enormous territorial superiority despite the home side constantly breaking up the game. We created a huge number of chances and unfortunately converted only one. Early in the second half we went through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and did not score. Then we conceded the second from a counter-attack; Fortuna was on their side as well, but you cannot miss this many chances without punishment. There were individual performances I was not satisfied with, but even so we had a huge number of opportunities. Matches like this have to be closed out and won. After 2–1 we took a lot of risks and both sides had chances to score. They had one or two opportunities, but even in the final seconds it felt as though we might at least rescue a point. Desire was decisive; the home side showed how you have to fight. That deserves great credit, congratulations to them!"
A pivotal match in terms of the final standings awaits us on Sunday, as we host second-placed Mezőkövesd Zsóry FC at the Bozsik Aréna.
