KAC upset in the league
On October 18, 1925, Kispesti AC produced excellent football to beat the favoured VAC 2–0 in round 5 of the league. In front of 1,500 spectators at the Lóversenytér, goals from L. Szabó and Mátéffy decided the two points.
KAC outperformed their opponents not only in effectiveness but also in the quality of their play. Béla Mayer’s players produced disciplined and attractive football. Kispest’s energetic attacking game and assured defending earned the appreciation of the home crowd as well.
