Our second team began the NB III campaign with two draws, first finishing 1–1 against Dabas and then 2–2 against Szeged II. Interestingly, we have not trailed at any point in the league so far and were only a few minutes away from victory in both matches.
In Round 3 we play a Budapest derby against Vasas II. András László's side narrowly missed out on the podium last season and finished fourth in the league.
The Angyalföld side are still without a win this season. After a 2–0 defeat to SZVSE, they drew 1–1 with Gyula, who were also in the title race last season.
After a long gap, we have been in the same league as the red-and-blues for the past two seasons. We have won two of the four meetings, alongside one draw and one defeat.
Our last 5 league matches against Vasas II:
2024: Vasas II.-Honvéd II. 2-1 (Our goalscorer: Hetyei)
2024: Honvéd II.-Vasas II. 3-2 (Our goalscorers: Krajcsovics, Vernes, Krajcsovics)
