Gábor Kovács's side recorded their first away win of the spring after coming from behind at Csepel SC on Sunday.
The home side took an early lead when Ádám Pesuth beat Megyeri after a Csepel attack. We were beyond the first third of the match when we struck twice within five minutes: first Szilveszter Hetyei equalised in the 33rd minute, then Máté László put us ahead in the 38th. As it turned out, that turnaround decided the destination of the three points, because the score did not change in the second half. Our second team therefore secured their first away victory of the spring and prepared successfully for next week's home match against Martfű.
Head coach Gábor Kovács's assessment: Congratulations to the whole team on the victory and especially on the comeback, because we took all three points away from home after falling behind. It was a very open match with many one-on-one duels both in the air and on the ground; it was clear that both teams were playing to win and were willing to take risks. The game was very direct, with lots of long passes and vertical balls through the middle, which led to chances at both ends in transition. Fortunately, we came out on top in this end-to-end contest today, thanks in part to an excellent goalkeeping performance!
