As we wrote earlier, several players joined the squad of our women’s team during the winter transfer window. Important matches await the side on two fronts, as Balázs Dörnyei’s team remain involved in the Hungarian Cup as well as league competition. Alongside the arrivals, however, the list of departures has also grown: Sydney Koszo, Laura Gabona and Krisztina Kerekes will no longer continue their careers in our club’s colours.
Sydney Koszo joined our club from Szeged a year ago and made her debut against MTK Budapest in the opening round of the spring season, eventually making 21 competitive appearances for our team. Krisztina Kerekes joined us at the start of the season after leaving Újpest and was given opportunities in three matches, while our third departure, Laura Gabona, appeared in nine league games last season but was unable to play during the autumn campaign because of injury.
We wish them every success in the next stage of their careers!
