Our veterans by the numbers
On 13 May 2024, Honvéd’s veterans suffered a 3–1 defeat against Pénzügyőr SE. That result also marked the beginning of a fantastic run. Since then, the red-and-blacks have gone 553 days without defeat. During that period they have recorded 31 wins and 3 draws, while on four occasions they won by double-digit margins.
This happened during the week (17 November — 23 November)

At its meeting on 14 November 1925, the Kispesti AC board discussed the situation arising from the resignation of Lieutenant Colonel Dezső Vigh, president of the football department. Vice-president Lajos Weckinger was entrusted with running the department, while former team manager and board member Márton Rosenfeld and former KAC international Ádám Boldog were invited to join the department’s leadership.

On 22 November 1975, Bp. Honvéd travelled to Csepel in Round 14 of the NB I. No goals were scored in front of 2,000 spectators. An interesting detail is that three Csepel players who appeared in the match had links to Kispest. Goalkeeper Tibor Lévai and defender József Ruzsinszki joined Kispest from Honvéd, while striker István Karalyos became a Kispest player three years later.
Bp. Honvéd lined up as follows: Gujdár – Páncsics, Kocsis I, Lukács, Varga – Pál, Virágh, Pintér – Morgós, Weimper, Bartos.
