Following the international break, all of the club's teams will be in action this week, with only Tuesday and Thursday featuring no Honvéd-related fixtures.
Another crucial match awaits us in Round 22 of the Merkantil Bank Liga as we host seventh-placed Aqvital Csákvár. The Fejér County side are currently seven points ahead of us, while a win could see our team move up several places in the table.
On Monday, the Old Boys kick off the 'weekly match rush' when, after beating Dunaharaszti 10-2, they face RTK. We currently hold a four-point advantage over MTK, winners of the last two editions and the current league leaders.
After defeating Monor, our second team can continue their good form on Wednesday away to Tiszaföldvár in the postponed match from Round 20. Gábor Kovács's side will thus be playing at an almost 'international pace', as they travel to Dabas on Saturday, while our women's team will be looking to bounce back at Soroksár after two winless matches.
There will be no shortage of excitement at youth level either. Our U19s, third in the table, face leaders PAFC of Felcsút, who are still unbeaten. Our U17s lead the championship after 13 rounds, but five teams are within six points, making the top of the table extremely tight. Márton Bogdánfi's boys can repeat their 3-1 away win from September against fifth-placed Ferencváros. Our U16s, who have moved up to second, visit bottom side DVTK and, with favourable results elsewhere, could even reduce their six-point deficit to Vasas. The same applies to our U15 side, currently fifth in the table, who could close in on the trio of Ferencváros, DVSC and PAFC by beating ZTE. Like the U19s, the U14s play away in Felcsút on Saturday, kicking off at 10:00.
