As is well known, our team suffered a 3–1 defeat against Csepel SC in the previous round. Following Álmos Horváth's red card, our boys found themselves in a difficult situation early in the match, but our players held their ground and took the lead through Kristóf Kenéz's goal in the 23rd minute. However, the visitors managed to turn the match around in the second half and left Kispest with valuable points. On Saturday at 1:00 PM, we visit an old acquaintance, Hódmezővásárhelyi FC.
Things have not gone well for Gábor Brlázs's side in recent rounds either, as their record stands at one win, five draws, and six defeats, leaving them heading into this clash with 8 points from 8th place in the table. The two teams know each other well, having first met in the third tier back in 2007. We have played Hódmezővásárhely 22 times in total, with our record being seven wins, five draws, and ten defeats. Last season we failed to take any points against the Vásárhely side, while in the 2024–2025 season the teams played tight matches, with both encounters ending in 1–1 draws.
