István Körtvélyesi's side took to the pitch on Saturday away at Hódmezővásárhelyi FC, returning home with a point. The hosts took the lead as early as the second minute through Zsolt Fődi, but we equalized in the 15th minute with Botond Schön's finish, as our 18-year-old footballer netted his first-ever goal in NB III. After the break, the home side once again went ahead, but in the closing stages, five minutes before the end of normal time, Asier García found the net, marking the Spanish attacker's second goal in Honvéd colours.

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
„In terms of quality of play, the match was of a very low standard. In every game we make absurd mistakes that give our opponents the advantage, and then we are left trying to compensate for them. We also need to speak to the players individually to uncover the reasons behind these poor decisions and resolve the issues that have arisen. Overall, we tried to play football, which was also made difficult by the condition of the pitch. Our opponents simply waited for our mistakes and reacted to them. We need to improve for the remaining matches so that the young players' development and accumulation of experience can continue smoothly.”
