As is well known, our club will host a prestigious international U15 tournament between March 12 and 15, 2026. The six teams have been split into two groups of three, with our age-group side joined by Paris Saint-Germain and Elche in Group A. After Atalanta, Spartak Moscow and NK Maribor, we continue introducing the teams with the French giants, although football fans hardly need an introduction to a club with such a rich history.
Paris Saint-Germain are France's most successful club, having celebrated 13 league titles and 16 cup victories since their foundation in 1970. Last year Luis Enrique's side achieved a historic triumph. In 2024–25 PSG won both the domestic league and cup and, for the first time in their history, lifted the Champions League trophy. They then reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. Their youth teams are regular participants at the most prestigious international tournaments. As for the strength of the U15 age group, Germain Borg's players won the U15 Elite Cup in Munich in September, defeating the academy teams of seven top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Internazionale, Porto, Galatasaray and Real Sociedad.
Germain Borg, head coach:
“Above all, this tournament is a strong shared experience that strengthens togetherness and team spirit. It is also an important opportunity to represent Paris Saint-Germain abroad, allowing the players to fully understand the international dimension of the club and wear its colours with pride. From a sporting perspective, of course, we expect the players to show purpose, commitment and character on the pitch. Most importantly, however, we want them to fully experience the competition and learn to manage tension, pressure and emotions both in positive moments and during more difficult periods. It is through experiences like these that a team's resilience is built and that we truly see whether they are capable of moving forward together.”
