After 129 days, our team face another away league match outside Budapest, visiting Aqvital FC Csákvár, who enjoyed an excellent autumn season but have stalled in the spring. Balázs Tóth's side were unbeaten at home in the first half of the season, also beat Vasas away, took a point from Kecskemét and entered the spring in fourth place, only two points off second. In 2026, however, the team are still winless. They opened with a 2–2 draw against Vasas, drew in Zugló, then suffered three defeats: elimination from the Hungarian Cup away to Ferencváros, followed by a heavy 5–1 loss to Videoton and a 0–2 defeat at Budafok.

Across all competitions, the 10 Honvéd–Csákvár matches played so far have produced a total of 48 goals, making this an exceptionally high-scoring fixture in the shared history of the two teams. We have also scored in every match against Csákvár.
The two sides were drawn together in the League Cup in 2014, and the goals flowed. In the home match, Gergely Bobál scored four, while Mancini, Gazdag and Szabados also got on the scoresheet, giving Kispest a 7-3 win. Csákvár won the return leg 5-2.
In 2018 we played two home friendlies against Csákvár. In January, goals from Danilo, Lukács and trialist Csiki produced a 3-2 victory in an eventful match. Ten months later, Patrik Tischler's hat-trick was unfortunately not enough for victory, with the match ending 3-3.
In 2023 we met Balázs Tóth's side twice in the second division. In the opening round in Csákvár, the first Kispest goal came early through Benczenleitner. The hosts responded at the start of the second half with a header from Zoárd Nagy, before Zalán Kerezsi scored the winner in the 86th minute.
In the December return match we hosted our opponents at Bozsik Aréna. Goals from Babós and Tamás gave them a two-goal lead, but Karacs's own goal and Bobál's strike earned us a point at home.
Honvéd–Csákvár 2–2 (highlights)
Last season we faced Csákvár three times. In July, a friendly ended 1-1 thanks to goals from Zoárd Nagy and Attila Lőrinczy, then in September we suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Tersztyánszky Ödön Sports Centre. Balázs Farkas scored our goal, while Szalai, Nagy and Haragos were on target for the hosts.
Under Tamás Feczkó we have won both of our matches against Csákvár so far. Last March, Csontos and Medgyes scored against the Fejér county side, while in August Szamosi struck twice and Medgyes was again on target; András Simon's header was only a consolation for the visitors.
