— Our former Brazilian standout Diego Rodrigues celebrates his 38th birthday on this day! Diego played for Budapest Honvéd between 2006 and 2010, making an invaluable contribution to our two cup triumphs during that period.
12 March:
— Árpád Hahn, who represented Kispest-Honvéd FC for four years, celebrates his 61st birthday on this day. As a player for the red-and-blacks, he was part of the 1996 cup-winning side and also appeared on the international stage, featuring in matches in both the UEFA Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup.
— Our excellent former midfielder Tibor Szabó celebrates his 49th birthday on this day! Tibor served Budapest Honvéd in two spells, from 1999 to 2001 and then from 2006 to 2007. He is remembered by supporters above all for the 2007 Hungarian Cup final, where his goal in the memorable match against Debrecen helped the team lift the trophy. After the 2–2 draw, he celebrated the cup win as one of the heroes of the penalty shoot-out.

Mirko Jovanović, the Serbian striker who represented Kispest-Honvéd FC between 1995 and 1998, celebrates his 55th birthday. With the red-and-blacks, he won the Hungarian Cup in 1996.

— Today marks the 127th anniversary of the birth of Ágoston Morvai. The defender represented Kispesti AC between 1923 and 1926, scoring 4 goals in 40 top-flight matches.
In memoriam
11 March.
— It was 49 years ago on this day that Ferenc Elemér Kónya, Kispesti AC's outstanding former inside-left and a club legend, passed away. As a player he took to the field between 1913 and 1920, and during his career he left a lasting mark not only on the pitch but also in the management of the club: in 1919 he was elected secretary of KAC, then briefly led Kispesti AC as coach in 1922. Later, in 1941, he contributed to the development of the red-and-blacks as a member of the club's management.
— Today marks two years since the death of our club's loyal legend, László Marosi, also known as a master of free kicks. The outstanding defender served only Honvéd throughout his entire career, from 1957 to 1971, making 240 league appearances in red and white. His memory is preserved by his successes – three league runners-up finishes, two third-place finishes, an MNK triumph and victory in the 1959 KK.
