With Milán Malomsoki and Márton Menyhárt in their ranks, the Hungary U16 national team played out a 1–1 draw against Lithuania.

The U16 national team last held a training camp in September, during which László Szalai's side played preparation matches against Slovenia. While the first encounter ended goalless, the youth team won the second 3–2. Between October 11 and 15, the national squad will play two more international friendlies, this time facing Lithuania. Three of our players received call-ups for the camp: Milán Malomsoki, Márton Menyhárt, and Krisztián Palásti are representing our club at the gathering.

The first friendly took place on Tuesday, with Malomsoki starting and Menyhárt coming on as a substitute against the Lithuanian side. The visitors took the lead as early as the 19th minute, but our boys equalized late in the first half through Patrik Mohl. Although the Hungarian team dominated possession and territory in the second half, they were unable to turn their chances into goals, and the match ended in a draw.

The U16 national team will have the chance to make amends on Thursday, October 15, with the second match kicking off at 11:30 at the UTE Football Academy.
