On 28 June from 11:00, we will play our first pre-season match at the Magyar Futball Akadémia against NB III champions Tiszakécskei LC. Our new signings, including Ákos Zuigéber and Bence Varga, could make their debuts, and debuts have gone well so far in the Feczkó era: just think of Patrik Pinte, Kevin Kántor or Szilveszter Hetyei, who made his first competitive appearance in May – all three made their first match memorable with a goal.
Saturday’s opponents are preparing for NB II again after a one-year absence, having won the NB III South-East group last season and then come through the promotion play-off against Mosonmagyaróvár 3–2 on aggregate.
The yellow-and-blues have not had much time to rest, with only 20 days between their final competitive match and their first pre-season fixture. Even so, there has been a change in the coaching staff: championship-winning head coach Pál Balogh has been replaced on the bench by his former assistant, Csaba Pintér.
Our meetings with Tiszakécske have so far been evenly distributed across competitions: we have played the Bács-Kiskun County side twice each in NB I, NB II and the Hungarian Cup. Most recently, in February 2024, we drew 1–1 in Tiszakécske.
Our previous matches against Tiszakécske:

The match will be played behind closed doors and there will be no online broadcast, but a video highlights package will be produced in which we will show the most important moments of the game.
