Our club held a board meeting today, hosted on this occasion by the Budapesti Honvéd Sports Association. The meeting was attended by our owner Tamás Leisztinger, our president Péter Szijjártó, board members István Gergely, Péter Gajda and Imre Garaba, as well as our managing director Árpád Séllei and sporting director Sándor Fórizs.
One of the key items on the agenda was the introduction of the “Player of the Month” award. Under the new system, the recognition will be presented in every month in which the team plays a league match. The nominees for November were Dominik Csontos, Zoltán Medgyes and Tomás Tujvel. Based on the votes of the five-member board, Dominik Csontos and Zoltán Medgyes ultimately earned the award for the best players of November with a tie in the scoring.
