Gergely Fűzfa, head coach:
“In our first match of the week, we faced Partizan Belgrade’s age-group team in Algyő. In the first quarter we needed a little time to adjust to the rhythm of an international match, but after that many elements we had practised during the week appeared in our play. We led twice and also had the more serious, well-worked chances in the final quarter. There can hardly be greater recognition for the boys than the fact that the head of one of our region’s best youth academies spoke highly of us and we received an invitation to Belgrade for another match. In our second match of the week we hosted UTE and wanted to continue the performance we had shown against Partizan Belgrade. Looking at the game as a whole, we succeeded! With purposeful, creative and brave football we created several chances and converted four of them. We achieved our most important objective for the week: everyone was able to start a match and practise our principles in and out of possession against strong opponents.”

Richárd Takács, head coach:
“In Algyő we faced a technically highly skilled, physically strong team in what was our most intense match of recent times. From the start it was clear that we would have to play under heavy pressure, requiring quick decisions and precise technical execution, while tough duels would be constant. Overall, although our opponents were generally on top and often imposed their game on us, we managed to adapt to the tempo and played bravely and proactively. The match served the development of our players extremely well.”
Following the match, Zoltán Csapkó, operational director of the Budapest Honvéd Academy, thanked Algyői SK, president Tamás Bogdán and sporting director Milán Kovács for providing the venue.
“We would like to thank Algyői SK for once again providing the venue for us to play the match, even though on some occasions they had to alter their own programme so that our youth teams could face high-quality opponents. It is a great help to us that, thanks to the facilities at the venue, the teams can meet halfway between Belgrade and Budapest.”
