On Monday evening, the third-round pairings of the MOL Hungarian Cup were drawn in the M4 Sport studio with the assistance of former one-cap Hungary international Gyula Plotár. NB I and NB II teams enter the competition for the first time at this stage, while the top-flight teams were seeded, meaning they could not be drawn against each other. In the first three rounds, if there is a divisional difference between the two teams, the lower-division side receives home advantage. If both teams play at the same league level, the side that had home advantage fewer times in previous rounds becomes the home team (this rule changes from round four, when the first team drawn receives home advantage). If home advantage still cannot be determined, the first team drawn is the home side.
This time we will face Móri SE from the Fejér county first division for a place in the last 32.
Mór finished second in the Fejér County First Division last season, 10 points behind Dunaújváros, and have not yet played a league match this season.
The tie will be decided over one match. If the score is level, the teams will play 2x15 minutes of extra time; if there is still no decision, a penalty shoot-out will follow. The cup matches will be played on 13 and 14 September, with exact kick-off times to be announced later.
