With Thursday's Hungarian Cup tie against DVTK in mind, Tamás Feczkó made several bold choices in his starting line-up. Although he 'did not touch' Tujvel or the familiar back three in front of him, he fielded a midfield combination never seen before, including István Pekár returning after a long illness and Kevin Kállai, who had already proven himself in central midfield, while the attacking trio consisted of Zuigeber, Nyers and Gyurcsó.
In the 10th minute, after a disastrous mistake by Lehoczky, Zuigeber immediately found himself in a shooting position, and our prolific forward made no mistake, giving the goalkeeper no chance as he found the bottom-left corner (0–1). It was Zuigeber's eighth league goal of the season and his first since Round 11. In the 23rd minute, Baki got his head to an excellent Csontos free kick, but Lehoczky did not have to intervene. Five minutes later the hosts launched a dangerous counter, at the end of which Ominger aimed for the right side of the goal, but Tujvel produced an excellent save. In the 36th minute Gyurcsó was fouled inside the box. Just as in the first half of the season at Bozsik, Csontos stepped up to take the penalty, but once again he could not beat Lehoczky, who guessed the direction and saved.
After the restart we scored from our first serious chance. In the 58th minute, Csontos crossed after a free kick and Nyers – scoring his first goal for the first team – met it first time and fired past Lehoczky into the net (0–2). Our 18-year-old academy graduate was making only his fourth start after the abandoned match in Kecskemét and the league games against Szentlőrinc and Ajka. We managed the remainder of the match very well. Csákvár's only chance of the second half did not come until the 90th minute, when Bence Szabó's promising shot flew over Tujvel's goal.
The victory increased our advantage over third place, as Mezőkövesd could only draw at home to Soroksár. In the other match of the day, Kecskemét beat Budafok 2–1 at home. We therefore lead Vasas, who have played one match fewer, by six points, and the Kecskemét–Mezőkövesd duo by 12.

Tamás Feczkó:
I am very happy. You could already see during the warm-up that the boys were approaching the match extremely well. We wanted to decide the contest as early as possible. We beat a team that wants to play football and always fights until the very last second. Today we proved again that we are a real TEAM in capital letters. I am happy that so many people came out on a Saturday at such an early hour.
