On Saturday's matchday of Round 13 in the Simple Női Liga, our women's team visited Szekszárd. Although last weekend's derby against MTK took a heavy toll on our players both physically and mentally, the goal once again could only be taking all three points. Our side took the lead late in the first half through Fanni Vachter, and then late in the second half, seven minutes before the final whistle, Maria Palama also found the net. Our striker thus continues to lead the Simple Női Liga scoring charts with 13 goals, while our Greek defender scored her fifth goal of the season across all competitions. Balázs Dörnyei's side – just as in the second round, when they also secured a two-goal victory – recorded another 2–0 triumph against the Tolna-based team. Meanwhile, MTK Budapest retained all three points at home against Videoton FC Fehérvár, meaning we await the continuation of the championship from sixth place in the table, trailing by just a single point.
