Patrik Pinte was born in Dunajská Streda in 1997 and played in the youth systems of several Slovak clubs, in order Somorja, Slovan Bratislava and Senec, before Slovan offered him a professional contract in 2016. A year later he was signed by Szombathelyi Haladás, then one season later he was playing in Slovakia again. In the 2023-24 season he represented second-division Kazincbarcika and was their leading scorer with eight goals. During the autumn season he made his debut in the Hungarian top flight as a Nyíregyháza player. The player, who celebrates his 28th birthday today, assessed his move to Kispest extremely positively despite leaving NB I side Nyíregyháza.
“I was happy that I could join Honvéd on loan. I am really looking forward to working together with the lads and the coach. I will do everything I can to help the team; we will work hard for good results and we will also need positivity for that. I definitely want to help the team with goals and assists. It is very important for everyone to trust the work we do during the preparation period, because that alone can give us confidence. First and foremost our defence needs to come together and be stable, while we also need to stay sharp in attack so that we can celebrate three points at the end of matches. I really believe the tide will turn and that we will perform well in the spring. Honvéd has an excellent fan base and I can hardly wait to play in front of them at the Bozsik Aréna” – the forward told our official website.
Our team – now under the direction of Tamás Feczkó – began preparations for the spring season with assessments on 3 January, followed by higher-intensity training sessions from Monday.
During January our team will play three matches behind closed doors at the Magyar Futball Akadémia before travelling to Turkey for a training camp.
