As is known, we took Patrik Pinte on loan from Nyíregyháza Spartacus in January for half a season, until 30 June. His contract with the Szabolcs club ran until summer 2027, but our club has now bought the player out of that agreement.
Patrik made an excellent start. He first scored on his Honvéd debut in the friendly against Kozármisleny, then also found the net in his first two league matches, against Budafok and Tatabánya. Minor injuries slowed him afterwards, but he still helped Honvéd with effective and useful performances in 11 league appearances.
“I arrived in January, the lads welcomed me very well and I can confidently say this is an excellent group. I have felt very good here during this period. We have also managed to keep most of the core together, and that is something we can build on. So there was never any question for me that I wanted to stay. I am very happy that the two clubs managed to reach an agreement. I hope we can continue to improve and perform even better than we did in the spring" – Patrik told our club's official website after signing the contract.
