Márton Bogdánfi, head coach:
“We started the match well; our high press and aggression were particularly good, and we were able to turn that into results. There were many positives in possession, especially in building our attacks, which is particularly pleasing. At the same time, our play was rushed for much of the match and characterised by a lot of inaccuracies, which wore us down physically. As a result, we were mostly forced to defend in the second half, and we were unable to freshen up the team from the bench either. It is a shame about the goal we conceded because our defending was stable, and we conceded after a set piece. We wanted to finish the match without conceding, but we did not manage that; nevertheless, our victory was never in danger. The lesson is that against such a physical team we need to have more possession, think faster and play with fewer touches.”

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“We have not been in particularly good shape health-wise recently, but despite that we managed to play a useful match. Several things worked well, although quite a few shortcomings also came to the surface during the game. We never really found our rhythm in possession, and in certain phases the coordination between the player on the ball and the supporting players was not good enough. Partly as a result, we made many technical errors and lost possession several times. Given the possibilities and the circumstances, we put a lot of energy into the match, and it showed us where we still need to improve.”

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
“I am very pleased that we were able to finish our preparation period against a quality opponent, as next week we will already be playing DVTK in the Hungarian Cup. The intensity of the match and the quality of the football were outstanding, and everyone tried to play. The tactical elements we had practised were implemented, and the match clearly highlighted the areas that need improvement. There were also players from whom the match and the opponent brought out things we had not seen before. In the second half we were also able to try new elements that were visibly effective, as we attacked much more successfully and scored goals as well. Our defending was organised; the opponent punished our own mistakes. Unfortunately, the result does not reflect the balance of play. We keep working and preparing for the league season.”
