Following in the footsteps of his brother Ádám Somogyi, Tamás Somogyi has also received the Player of the Month award. Despite his young age, our attacking midfielder plays a vital role in our first team: since making his NB I debut against Kisvárda, he has made 12 top-flight appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals during that spell. He contributed a crucial goal against Paksi FC and netted his first hat-trick against Bajai LC. His strike against the Tolna-based side was chosen among the three finest goals of Round 3 by M4 Sport.
His impressive performances also drew the attention of the Hungary U19 national team preparing for the European Championship qualifiers, and at the end of September—being two years younger than the age group—he represented our club at the national team's training camp.
Congratulations, Tamás!
