After three consecutive home matches, we play away again in the Merkantil Bank Liga. Our opponents are current bottom side Kozármisleny. Despite their position in the table, the hosts are not in poor form at all and are unbeaten in their last three league matches: they won in Zugló, drew in Budafok and also shared the points at home with Videoton. Máté Pinezits’s side played a friendly in Osijek, where they lost 2–1. Tamás Feczkó’s team, meanwhile, prepared for Sunday’s match with a 3–2 victory over Bosnian top-flight side Radnik Bijeljina.
"This international break of a little over a week and a half passed quickly, and we tried to use the short period as productively as possible. We had a friendly that I think was very useful for the team. Players who had received fewer opportunities in league matches were able to prove themselves. I’m happy I was able to return to the lads after my injury – fortunately I could do so in a winning match. I have full 90-minute matches in my legs again and I’m very happy to be playing once more" – said our defender Alex Szabó, whom we also asked about the prospects before the match.
"Fortunately we are near the top of the table, and of course it is much better to come to training like this than it was at the start of spring. Now we are fighting for promotion and we give everything from match to match to achieve it. It is great to see so many people coming to our home games, but we are also very happy that they can travel with us away from home. It meant a lot that they stood by us and supported us even during the tougher periods. Kozármisleny are currently bottom of the table, but they are a much better team than that. They play very good football and try to keep the ball as much as possible, but we definitely want to win and bring home all three points." – added our 23-year-old defender.
