Shared history:
Honvéd II faced Szolnok in the Western group of NB II in the 2011-12 season. There were no goals in Kispest, while in Szolnok we suffered a 3-2 defeat. A season later we got our revenge on the Tisza-side team at home, with Roland Vólent's brace earning three points at the Bozsik Stadion. In Szolnok, however, we were beaten again: although we scored two once more against the blue-and-whites, they replied with four. Interestingly, Vólent later played for Szolnok, while future NB I champions such as Botond Baráth and Richárd Vernes also featured for our second team.
We next faced Szolnok in the 2022-23 season. The visitors took an early lead in Kispest, before goals from Barnabás Németh and Ábel Krajcsovics turned the match around and gave us a 2-1 win. In Szolnok, Bertalan Bocskay's goal earned us all three points, the final score being 1-0 to Honvéd II.
Last season did not go well for us against Szolnok. The home match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Gergely Kocsis scoring our goal, while in the spring away fixture we suffered a 6-1 defeat. Barnabás Menyhárt scored in that match, but was later sent off.
