After the euphoric success in Székesfehérvár, we continue the league campaign at home, with Budafok visiting the Bozsik Aréna in Round 2. As is well known, we are celebrating the 116th anniversary of our club's foundation, and after eleven years we are once again playing a league match on 3 August.

Squad:
Budafok have several of our former players in their squad. András Horváth was part of our 2016-17 championship-winning team, while Dávid Kálnoki-Kis won the Hungarian Cup with Honvéd. From our current squad, Sebestyén Ihrig-Farkas played for BMTE from 2017 to 2022, scoring 27 goals and progressing with the south-Budapest club from NB III all the way to NB I. Our summer signing Ákos Zuigeber also wore the Budafok shirt in two separate spells, including last season, while Gellért Dúzs spent the past six months on loan with Sunday's opponents.
We have something to repay against Budafok: since 2023 our record in four league matches against them is two draws and two defeats. We played Budafok twice in 2025: in February the visitors won 2–1 at the Bozsik Aréna, then a month and a half later we drew 0–0 in a friendly. Of the current coaches, the former match was Tamás Feczkó's debut and the latter Géza Mészöly's first game.
