We celebrated the 115th birthday of football in Kispest at our first home league match of the season, against Tatabánya. To mark the occasion, Lipták Grund welcomed both young and old with exciting programmes. Alongside the games, our supporters could meet members of the 1983/1984 championship-winning team, whom we also greeted on the pitch at the Bozsik Arena at half-time to mark the 40th anniversary of their league title.
Before the match, Ákos Merényi sang the Honvéd anthem together with his young son, then the members of our women’s team released 115 red and black balloons into the sky, while our team completed the (birth)day with a 1–0 victory.
