After losing to Pénzügyőr, our team drew against Kecskemét II, and from 14:00 on Sunday we face Tiszaföldvár as we look for our first win of the spring league season.
What you need to know about Tiszaföldvár:
- Founded: 1910
- Club colours: blue and white
- League position: 10th
- Record: 5 wins, 6 draws, 8 defeats
- Head coach: Pál Rétes
- Top scorer: Ákos Oláh (4 goals)
Tiszaföldvár won the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county first division last season and earned promotion to NB III by winning their play-off against Villány, returning to the division for the first time since 1974. The blue-and-whites currently sit 10th and have yet to concede a goal this year. Most recently they drew 0-0 away to leaders Gyula, so they can have no complaints about their start to the spring.
We recorded a 4-1 victory in August, with Ábel Krajcsovics and Máté Pintér both scoring twice, while Anton Bidzilya found the net for the opposition.
