Viktor joined our academy from PMFC in 2022. In the 2023-24 season he played for our U16 and U17 teams, while this season he has featured for our U17 and U19 sides. He was also part of the Hungary U17 national team that played European Championship qualifiers in November, and scored against Azerbaijan.
“At first I could hardly believe that I was able to train with the first team, because throughout my whole career I had been working towards getting this opportunity. The fact that I managed to achieve it at such a young age perhaps even surprised me. When I walked into the dressing room, I could feel the first-team players were amazed at how young I was. During training they tried to help me and I still need to get used to the new atmosphere, but all things considered my first impression was positive.”
Viktor also spoke about his goals for the future.
“It would be a great honour if I could one day play for Honvéd's first team. I would like to make my debut as soon as possible; when that opportunity comes depends primarily on me. After that I definitely want to play in NB I with Honvéd, and looking further ahead I would also like to test myself at clubs abroad.”
We wish our academy player a successful preparation period!
