This will be our third consecutive and fifth home league match overall this season, with our opponents being last season's champions of the NB III South-East Group, Tiszakécskei LC. The yellow-and-blues arrive in poor form, having lost four of their last five matches, including defeats to Videoton (0–5) and Budafok (1–2) since the September international break, so they currently sit just two points ahead of Kozármisleny, who are already below the line.
The two teams approach the match in contrasting form. We are still perfect at home and, jointly, have scored the most goals in the league, while Tiszakécske have not won an away league match since July and, also jointly, have conceded the most goals in the competition.
The club changed coach in the summer: title-winning head coach Pál Balog was replaced by Csaba Pintér, who happened to make his debut against us in the June friendly that we won 3–0. The visitors' squad also includes a former Honvéd player, Ádám Gyenes, who joined TLC in the summer and previously appeared in 14 NB III matches for our second team.

Meetings between the teams:
The history between the two teams began back in the 1997–98 season in the Hungarian top flight. In the away match, the Bács-Kiskun county side were one goal better (2–1), while in Kispest the home side opened the floodgates: goals from Mátyus, Borgulya and Bárányos plus a brace from Csertői gave us a 5–0 win, and the yellow-and-blues were relegated from the NB I. Tiszakécske FC moved to Cegléd in 1999, so football in the town had to be rebuilt and, after dropping as low as the county third division, they eventually returned to the NB II in 2018. That season brought the third and fourth meetings between the sides, this time in the Hungarian Cup. Ben-Hatira's goal gave us a 1–0 advantage away, while the return leg in the capital ended 1–1, which sent Kispest through on aggregate. In the 2023–24 season the two sides met again in the Merkantil Bank Liga. We won 2–1 at home through goals from Dominik Kocsis and Nikolasz Kovács, while Gergely Bobál's header earned a point in the return fixture.
Most recently, we played Tiszakécske in a friendly in late June, in our first match of the season, when goals from Zuigeber, Medgyes and Pinte secured a convincing victory.
