After the five-goal midweek victory over Martfű, Gábor Kovács's side visited Szegedi VSE in round six of the NB III South-East group.
The hosts took the lead through Beretka in the 25th minute, but before half-time our team equalised through Hetyei's first goal of the season. Shortly after the restart, Szeged were awarded a penalty which Kéri converted, but just under ten minutes later came another response as Dominik Hancz scored, just as he had on Wednesday. There were no further goals, so the teams shared the points.
It was not the first 2–2 draw we have played in Szeged this season: in round two our league match away to Szeged-Csanád G. A. II. ended with the same score.
NB III will not stop during the international break: Gyula visit the Hungarian Football Academy on 7 September.
