The international break is over, during which three players from our club represented their respective countries. Hanna Alasz and Nikolett Krizsan featured for the Hungarian Women's U19 national team, while Maria Palama represented Greece in the World Cup qualifiers. This week, however, Simple Női Liga action resumes, as Balázs Dörnyei's squad hosts Kész-St. Mihály Szeged at the Bozsik Aréna on Sunday at 15:00.
Our team headed into the break in great form, having secured a place in the quarter-finals with a comprehensive Simple Női Kupa victory over ZTE FC, making it five matches unbeaten across all competitions. The side from Csongrád county comes into the fixture in eighth place in the table with three wins, one draw, and six defeats. The previous round did not go well for the Tisza-side team, suffering a 6–1 defeat in Felcsút. They haven't had an easy run in their last five league outings either, failing to pick up points against defending champions Ferencváros, Újpest, and ETO.

What to know about the Kész-St. Mihály Szeged women's team:
Founded: 2012
Current league position: 8th
Goal difference: 9:16
League record: 3 wins, 1 draw, 6 defeats
Last league match: PAFC–Kész-St. Mihály Szeged 6–1 (4–1)
League form: L-W-L-L-L
Head coach: László Major
Major achievements:
The team from the banks of the Tisza made their top-flight debut in the 2018–2019 season, staying up for three seasons before suffering relegation from the NB I at the end of 2020–2021. They had an outstanding campaign in the second tier: scoring 146 goals, conceding only seven, and winning the league by 11 points, returning to the elite after a single year for the 2022–2023 season. An important milestone in the club's development came in January 2022, when it began operating as a state-accredited women's football academy.
Head-to-head:
We have faced Szeged four times in total, holding a record of three wins and one defeat. Last season, we won both league encounters against the Csongrád side. Most recently, we hosted László Major's team in Kispest in the spring, securing a 2–0 victory courtesy of goals from Blanka Bokor and Fanni Vachter.
