U19
Following the defeat to MTK, our U19 team travelled to Videoton FC Fehérvár and earned a 3–2 victory. Although Erik Kovács gave us the lead as early as the 20th minute, our opponents turned the match around before half-time. With two rounds remaining, our age-group team are second in the table, five points behind leaders MTK.

“The biggest task this week was to freshen up mentally and rediscover our motivation after last week's lack of results. We set different targets, and this match in Fehérvár was the first step towards them. We made a lot of mistakes, but most importantly, the boys once again gave everything and believed in success until the very last moment.”

Viktor Petrók, head coach:
“Almost every phase of our game worked well in the first half. I was particularly pleased that we were able to defend forward effectively and proactively from the middle zone, something we have placed great emphasis on recently. We created several chances but unfortunately did not always make the most of them. I liked the second half less: we should have kept the ball more, but because spaces opened up we wanted to attack too directly, and in the final phase and in front of goal we did not always make good decisions. Overall, we played a good match in which both teams tried to play football. Congratulations to the team for their approach, attitude, performance and, of course, the victory.”
U16
Our U16 team suffered a three-goal defeat away to Ferencváros. Head coach István Körtvélyesi highlighted that his side played with a good approach and, although they controlled the first half throughout, they were unable to convert their chances. Our age group lead the table with 46 points, but MTK, two points behind, have played two fewer matches. Our team therefore only have a chance of winning the league if we take all three points at home to Gödöllői SK on Wednesday and our rivals lose at least two of their next three games.

István Körtvélyesi, head coach:
“We played a real derby-type match against FTC. We took to the pitch with a very good approach and at a high level. We dominated throughout the first half, but the sending-off completely changed the match. In the second half, our mentality and the quality of our play put us above our opponents, but we could not convert our opportunities and only hit the woodwork. Congratulations to the team for their mentality and the quality of their football, but we have to learn how to make our superiority count; then matches like this can produce a result that reflects the performance.”
U14
Last Saturday, the previously postponed league match against PFLA was played, with our team suffering a two-goal defeat away in Felcsút. Miron Marte gave us the lead in the 20th minute, but the hosts equalised before half-time and turned the match around after the break. Djordje Kamber's team will host DVSC at the academy in the final round.
Elite League, Round 23
PFLA–Budapest Honvéd FC 3–1 (1–1)
Honvéd: Mező – Oláh-Sebők, Horváth (Tóth 48.), Marte, Oke (Gerencsér 56.), Babos, Kamber, Kovács (Keindl 68.), Kovács (Palaga 56.), Rácz, Hanzély
Scorer: Marte (20.)
Djordje Kamber, head coach
“We started the match well and managed to take the lead at the right time. We controlled our opponents well in the middle zone. They tried many long balls and crosses, which we dealt with well, but after one such situation we reacted unfortunately and conceded. Building from the back remains difficult for us; there are too many technical errors and poor positional choices, which means we cannot threaten the opponent's goal enough. In the second half we controlled the match much better and had several dangerous counter-attacks, but could not score. The opposition took advantage of our small lapses in concentration and scored. We have played another useful match that will greatly help the future development of the players and the team.”
